- Develop and maintain strong professional relationship with customers by ensuring highest level of customer’s satisfaction continuously.
- Timely customer complaint redressal and enquiry response.
- Management and retention of defined customer portfolio.
- Develop and execute sales plan/strategy/activities to achieve target budgets.
- Negotiate with customers on contractual terms of service provision that is aligned to corporate sales policy and procedures.
- Responsible for delivery of high-quality presentation of the entire range of standardized products and services to potential customers.
- Actively plan, prepare and realize sales calls for better customer retention and new business acquisition.
- Secure/collect all necessary information to assess credit worthiness of potential customers.
- Conduct surveys and market intelligence gathering to assess, target the potential business prospects and review competitor behavior.
- Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in field sales at freight forwarding or shipping line.
- Broad understanding of trade lane specifics in the forwarding industry and deep knowledge of ocean freight, and logistics business models.
- Master’s degree is preferred in relevant field.
- Capability to deliver presentations and highly effective in conducting sales negotiations.
- Must have proven sales record.
- Must have excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills.
- Command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
