Position Senior Business MangerLevel Mid to SeniorLocation Karachi - onsiteReporting Line General Manager - Operations & ProductGender Male or FemaleAs the Senior Business Manager, you will be an ambitious generalist and instrumental in driving operational efficiency, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and serving as a key liaison between senior leadership and various departments while taking direct ownership of operations in our Karachi office. Reporting directly to the General Manager (GM) and with one direct report (junior ops), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's trajectory.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, who likes to work autonomously, enjoys a challenge and wants to make an impact!Key Responsibilities * Operational Execution: Oversee, execute and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization, (including finance, HR, ops and legal)
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead and execute key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving successful outcomes (e.g. internship program, strategy planning or implementing a systems overhaul)
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between different teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects and initiatives
  • Finance: Oversee the finance function in Karachi, including day to day activities, overall planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Human Resources: Manage the HR function for the Karachi office in collaboration with the UK HQ (including goal setting/ tracking and team building activities)
  • Recruitment: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for hiring in the Karachi office
  • Special Projects: Lead and oversee special projects as directed by the GM/ CTO, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g. working with the product/ tech teams, exec team initiatives or bringing insights from analytics or reporting)

  • Previous experience in a startup or smaller company is an advantage
