Careem operates in over 70 cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.About the teamThe Central Food Partner team's mission is to monitor, track and improve the performance of partners while improving the overall app experience for the customers. This will involve building and tracking the full picture of the food business from the partner perspective, uphold the experience bar for them, provide actionable insights, formulate problems and contribute to solving them. As part of this team, you will be a core team member fulfilling this mission. You will be working with partner, commercial, product, and operations teams across the region, leveraging modern analysis and visualization tools to solve the region's day-to-day problems.What you'll do
  • Drive business growth through product funnel enhancements
  • Identifying growth opportunities using data, analytics & other tools
  • Designing experiments to test whether the interventions will drive growth for the business
  • Help design, document & maintain system processes.
  • Build a strong feedback loop on product features with the product team
  • Work very closely with the commercial teams across markets to scale product features' roll-out
  • Drive and support your designated business unit by converting complex data and findings into insights
  • Gain subject matter expertise and help define appropriate key metrics for the business unit and discover untapped areas for business improvement
What you'll need
  • Relevant experience of 3-5 years
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and high accuracy execution
  • Experience in food industry / product ops preferred
  • MS Excel proficiency & proven hands on experience in SQL is a strong plus
  • Previous experience in a high growth environment/tech start up
  • Working with large amounts of data on spreadsheets/dashboards
  • Cross functional collaboration
