About the RoleThe job holder will generate timely, effective and safe operational flight plans and pre-flight briefings for scheduled and non-scheduled flights throughout the Airline's network in compliance with the Airline's policies and procedures, and respective civil aviation authority regulations. Supports the Airline's operational control and dispatch reliability by efficiently responding to irregular and emergency requirements taking into account safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.In addition to the above, the job holder will manage and control the published crew rosters of the Airline aiming for the achievement of On Time Performance on daily basis related to the scope of Crew Planning Control with full compliance to regulations and policies in place.Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Management or Aviation related fields or from a recognized university is highly desirable for this role
Possess a valid “Flight Dispatcher Certificate of License” issued from an approved institute or organization, preferably recognised by the PCAA, alternately, successful completion of “Flight Dispatch” initial course or equivalent
Basic knowledge in using crew management systems, productivity tools
Basic Airport, security procedures and regulations training is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office, including Advanced Excel
Good in written, verbal communication skills and technical report writing
Fluent in English Language.
3+ years of experience in comparable airlines in the operations department as an approved or licensed “Flight Dispatcher”; experience with low-cost airline is preferred
Experience in crew control or similar task involving crew member transactions are desired
Familiar with Civil Aviation Authorities and regulatory bodies, preferably PCAA rules and regulations pertaining to Flight Operations - particularly FTL and Rest Periods
Exposure to QA/Safety/Security/Audit procedures and practices related to and affecting Flight Operations.
Capable of applying policies, procedures as per approved standards and regulations.
Proven skills in time and change management.
