The Community Health Outreach Promoter work within the local community to promote engagement in health issues.MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build partnership with key stakeholders and individuals in the community.
  • Liaise and coordinate with program staff for project implementation.
  • Carry out awareness raising sessions and outreach activities to inform the community members about services.
  • Together with other staff members, facilitate and organize awareness sessions for communities on basics of health and key health activities conducted at the International Medical Corps health facilities in the community.
  • Will facilitate the community to pass their complaints to the management through CBFRM in a transparent manner.
  • Act in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner towards other colleagues & community.

  • Secondary School Certificate/ Matric
  • Previous work as Community Volunteer
  • Awareness about local culture and languages
