The Afiniti Finance Centre of Excellence run a wide range of global finance operational activities that contribute to the overall success of the global organization. At its core, the Finance Centre of Excellence is responsible for executing a wide range of Finance transactional tasks and the finance systems that are crucial for maintaining accurate & timely financial records, with appropriate controls and reporting.Reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), this role will oversee accounting and financial operations for all of the company's entities.Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the Finance Centre of Excellence teams across Pakistan, including Global teams for Accounts Payable, payroll, and associated accounting functions, as well as the management of Finance systems (Netsuite, FloQast, Certify).
Standardize, optimize, and automate accounting operations and finance processes, ensuring maintenance of and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Establish and document standard operating procedures for the Finance Centre of Excellence, ensuring proper financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements while facilitating operational efficiency.
Lead a dynamic team of 25+ employees located across Pakistan, fostering a respectful and collaborative results-driven work environment. Provide support to all finance teams by offering valuable insights, leading analyses, and driving efficiency improvements.
Ensure the company's accounting records are maintained in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). Collaborate with tax and statutory compliance teams to provide US GAAP results for regulatory reporting and tax filing purposes. Support the company's annual financial statement and statutory audits in all jurisdictions.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 12 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial operations, and financial reporting.
Proven track record in a multinational, multi-currency enterprise with significant intercompany activity.
Proven leader managing, mentoring, and developing large, multi-level international teams. Demonstrated experience in driving process efficiency within finance teams, including expertise in process engineering and ownership of finance system improvements and strategy.
Netsuite experience required. FloQast and Certify experience a plus.
Strong familiarity with US GAA is required; knowledge of international statutory compliance requirements is a plus.
Software/technology industry experience strongly desired.

Location/Remote work statementUnder the Hybrid working mode, role is primarily office-based, requiring a significant presence in both Lahore and Karachi, where the Finance Centre of Excellence is based.
