Grade Level: L2Location: BahawalpurLast date to apply: 4 September 2025What is MBU Lead?MBU Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of telecom sites within the assigned Micro Business Unit (MBU). The role ensures effective implementation of contractual obligations, efficient management of customer complaints and achievement of site profitability targets. The MBU Lead also engages with internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance and solutions tailored to operational challenges.We are seeking a candidate with prior experience in Access Operations, strong hands-on expertise in Ericsson Transmission equipment and a proven background in troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders are essential for this role.What does MBU Lead do?
  • Monitor and evaluate overall MBU performance and operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise in BSS, Transmission (TXN), and Power troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of 2G/3G/4G KPIs, including DCR, CSSR, and TCH Blocking and ensure targets are met.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks for BSS, TXN, and Power domains within the network.
  • Work in close coordination with the Sales team for prompt resolution of customer complaints.
  • Follow up with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) vendors/teams for day-to-day activities, including Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) of both Telco and Non-Telco elements in the respective MBU.
  • Assign tasks to teams and ensure their execution in line with project and operational requirements.
  • Act as the primary interface between the MBU team and other departments (NOC, RFO, Planning, Logistics, Deployment, Warehouse, etc.) to ensure timely resolution of cross-functional issues.
  • Process vendor invoices and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) within defined timelines.
  • Prepare and present operational and performance reports as required by Management.
  • Maintain close coordination with OMOs and vendors for resolution of issues on infrastructure-sharing sites.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 05 years of relevant experience in Telecom Operations & Maintenance.
  • Strong technical expertise in BSS, Transmission, and Power systems.
  • Sound knowledge of 2G/3G/4G KPIs and network performance management.
  • Strong coordination, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer centric approach to identify and fix network issues
  • Hands-on experience in Transmission equipment (Ericsson)
  • Should not have any concerns working round the clock and if required on Holidays (including public holidays) as an emergency Resource
