
Sr Project Engineer - Electrical

- Work on pre-project costing and quotation preparation for Electrical portion of projects
- Represent the organization in project review meetings with customers & contractors for discussing the progress & issues at site.
- Mobilization of contractors at site, material inspection and project execution planning with customers & contractors.
- Expertise in planning & well versed in manpower handling, deputation at site achieving targets following QAP at site.
- Performing/Supervising installation as per P&ID, GA, hook up, SLDs, Manuals and site condition.
- Supervision in power & control cable laying, dressing, glanding, Loop checking, ferruling, lugging, termination & tagging for LT & HT cables.
- Experience in installation & commissioning of MCC, PCC & PLC systems
- Knowledge of installation of basic lighting & plant lighting at site.
- Knowledge and experience with area zoning, emergency stop networks and electrical limitations when in hazardous zones (Food/Pharma Industry).
- Knowledge and experience of installation of battery bank, battery chargers & UPS at site
- Having a good grasp of global electrical standards (IEEE / ISO)
- Knowledge & experience of local electrical standards and regulations, especially for Pakistan and Afghanistan is mandatory. Knowledge of electrical standards from other countries (especially Middle East countries) is an added advantage
- Installation of earthing systems with earth pits at site.
- Involved in fabrication of cable tray supports, junction boxes support, pneumatic distribution boxes, instrument stands as per P&ID & layouts.
- Installation of cable tray supports & cable trays for power & control cables following plant layout drawings and suited to site conditions.
- Experienced in PLC, MCC, ICP TESTING AND FAT procedures.
- Responsible for selecting and coordinating with panel vendors for technical drawings, cost control and site installation and supervision.
- Knowledge of different communication protocols like Asi, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, IO Link is mandatory
- Hands-on experience with Asi system installation and commissioning
- Hands-on experience with IO Link is an advantage
- Responsible for correct impulse piping, SS tubing, installation of fields instruments as per Hook Up's & Site Condition.
- Proficient in reviewing control systems PLC's, I/O list, Logics, Review of P&ID's, instrumentation applications, instrument index, control panels, junction boxes, cable tray routings drawings, control room layouts drawings, loop drawings, hook up drawings and field wiring drawings etc.
- Installation, Testing & Commissioning of all LT motors, motorized valves, control valves, electrical & pneumatic dampers.
- Experience with variable frequency drives of Danfoss, Allen Bradley, Siemens etc.,
- Documentation & commercial co-ordination for smooth run towards the completion of the project.
- Basic knowledge of instrument selection.
- Hands on experience in handling / calibrating SMART Instruments with HART communicator preferably of Endress+Hauser. Yokogawa, Radix, Krohne, Rosemount, Nova Weigh etc. will be an added advantage.
- Graduate Electrical/Instrumentation or Electronics (with relevant experience.)
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years delivering site services in the field of electrical and instrumentation installations within projects in similar industry.
- Preferably having hands on role and moved into supervisory role.
- Good in written and spoken English as required for export operations.
- Skilled with MS Tools required for business reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of fully automated plants
- Self-motivated and able to act as a key support pillar for the business unit.
