- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the project management domain in the IT industry.
- Foreign qualified (USA desirable) or USA experience.
- Extensive background in gathering requirements directly from clients.
- Excellent communication skills; spoken and written.
- Highly capable and willing to work as an individual contributor rather than looking to manage a team.
- Previous experience in SaaS startups is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise with 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering and translating business visions into technical requirements.
- Previous roles as Business or Product Owner will be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Atlassian Jira, Trello, Slack, Bitbucket, and GitHub is preferred.
- Lead and oversee the Product Management department, providing strategic direction and guidance.
- Directly manage a team of product managers, ensuring clear communication, alignment of objectives, and professional development.
- Gather requirements and translate them into user stories for feature development.
- Present product strategy to the team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with UX design teams to conceptualize user experiences and effectively communicate high-level requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between the product management team, other departments, senior management, and clients.
- Streamline departmental workflows and project management processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with designers and software development teams, including off-shore and remote teams, to facilitate project planning, scheduling, and status updates.
- Identify and highlight potential risks or malfunctions, taking proactive measures to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Utilize various project tracking software as necessary to monitor and manage departmental projects effectively.
