Jr. Risk Engineer

• Devise an annual strategy and plan with respective account executives to prioritize risk surveys of major SIB Clients.
• Assist Team Lead in analysing the data, drawings, documents received from clients and provide conclusion with regards to risk.
• Assist Team Lead in compiling the comprehensive risk survey reports for each of the surveys conducted, which should include risk improvement recommendations.
• Carry out Joint / individual risk assessment surveys of our clients & prospects to identify the risk characteristics, loss estimates, risk conditions, and safety measures adapted by the clients.
• Coordinating with clients to implement risk improvement recommendations that will ensure maximum efficiency and quality while minimizing cost.
• Adhere to SIB standards of risk reporting.
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the survey process, tools, and technology.

• Other duties as may be assigned by Team Lead relating to Risk department and corporate team activities.

• Assist in coordinating with third party or Aon Risk Engineers in the surveys to be carried out for SIBs clients.
• Assist client/broking team to review risk conditions of clients for insurance audits as well as policy reviews to be conducted as one-off assignment.

• Keep up with changes in the insurance market and in clients' industries.
• Keeping full eye on new projects at existing clients and discuss for any changes on regular basis via one-on-one meetings, phone calls, emails.

• Work closely with account executives to ensure the client risks are adequately protected.
• Research and communicate industry-related developments and trends.
• Understand the clients requirements, keeping in view their loss experience and risk exposure. Review all coverage available and identify any potential barriers to manage clients expectations.
• Full Compliance with SIB Guidelines, E&O Protocols etc.

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients (existing & potential), insurers and reinsurers.
