- GCS Information Technology Services (Microsoft Midmarket Solution provider, Managed service provider) is looking for a self-driven System and Network Engineer to join our team.
- Provide remote support to users, who can be staff and clients in the USA, and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
- The selected candidates will work in full coordination with technical staff such as Sr. System Administrator, Chief System Architects, and other team members.

- Provide remote support to end users in all aspects of a functional corporate network including Microsoft Windows, Network connectivity, Wi-Fi connectivity, Printing, Mobile Device Management, Office 365, Azure, AWS, etc.
- Remotely Configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. These can be in-house networks or Office 365/Microsoft 365 Networks.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Remotely diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues by politely questioning customers about the issues they are facing.
- Provide remote administration and end-user support for Office 365 / G-suite. Perform administration and maintenance of production servers and workstations.
- Perform remote administration and maintenance of network devices like switches, firewalls, access points, etc.
- Perform installation and maintenance of Threat management systems like Antivirus, Content management, and UTM devices.
- Monitor Data backup and recovery operations remotely.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all procedures, solutions, and user guides.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an internal knowledge base.
- Education:
- A Bachelor's or Masters's degree in IT, CS, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in the relevant domain.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments.
- Basic networking knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, AZURE, and AWS
- Experience in Managing and administrating firewalls
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience and a customer-oriented approach.
- Certifications / Training:
- M365 certification is a plus.
- MS Windows Server Training is a must.
- MS Exchange Server Training is a must.
- CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
