Job PurposeTo support the growth and profitability of GlaxoSmithKline by ensuring the efficient packaging of tablets, capsules, suspensions, and syrup products in compliance with QMS, EHS, regulatory policies, and local legislation. This includes optimizing available resources to maximize company benefits and customer satisfaction while maintaining operational excellence through effective people management and leadership.Education, Experience & Skills
  • Pharm – D is required for this role.
  • 4-5 Years of experience is preferred in a similar role.
  • Strong Leadership and team management to drive collaboration and improvement.
  • Effective Problem-solving skills to ensure compliance and achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and support change.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set objectives of the staff and review achievement through Workday process. Contribute to maintaining good Relations at the site in coordination with production Manager and staff involved in activities.
  • Foster team spirit and ability of critical thinking, analysis and decision making. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, counseling and in-house training. Improve work environment by demonstrating and support GPS practices in order to drive improvement.
  • Initiate and facilitate cultural change program to support for desired culture change in GMS Pakistan. Ensure that the products manufactured confirm the standard of quality and GSK standard. Make sure that the SOP and GMP are strictly followed.
  • Help the manager in production of allocation of resources, launching of new product, achieving the KPI targets. Must have complete knowledge of OEE and action plan to achieve desired target. Align with the site as well as Value Stream priorities and have understanding to achieve the same. Maintain good relationship with all supervisory staff and look into the genuine problems of staff and try to resolve them at floor level.
  • Take appropriate disciplinary action in situations going against company define policy.
  • Carry out all Production related activities in SAP. Must have command of QMS and all related documentation, audits and Risk Management System. Must have understanding and knowledge of deviation and how to deal with the same.
  • Coordinate with engineering for preventive and break down maintenance of production equipment. Ensure management of staff allocation and rotations to enhance their capabilities.
  • Ensure the origination or review of SOPs & batch documents as and when required. Provide in-house training of SOPs & batch documents to relevant staff.
  • Attend all mandatory training and should have command of training delivery process for direct and indirect reporting.
