Reporting to : Coordinator Procurement/ConsultanciesWWF-Pakistan Salary Grade : C2Duty Station : Head Office LahoreContract : Annual/Long TermSummaryThe position is responsible for the assisting Procurement Department in Day-to-Day Procurement related activities, Drafting Procurement Documentation, Reporting, Field/Market Surveys, and Liaison with Vendors and Partners.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Market visits for Sourcing, vendor selection, Surveys, acquiring Best Price Options & Negotiations.
  • Maintain and Update the List of Suppliers, qualifications, Orders, Deliveries etc. ∙ Assist with Drafting Procurement Documents, Planning phase, Generating RFQs, and Assisting in Technical and Financial Comparative sheets.
  • Coordinate with the End-user department for Procurement & Services activities
  • Liaison with Vendors/Suppliers for timely deliveries and ensure High quality of Material.
  • Liaison with Finance Department for Payment /Invoicing related matters.
  • Maintaining Procurement Records (Preparation of documents, filing, etc.)
  • Assisting on the development of Procurement Cases Track Records and File management.
  • Answer Queries and provide the information asked by the Vendors/Suppliers regarding the Procurement process.
  • Perform procurement/inventory-related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
Selection CriteriaEducation, Experience &Working Knowledge
  • A well-established personal commitment to nature conservation;
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or Supply chain will be preferred.
  • Should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement

  • Strong commitment to conservation and development issues.
  • Excellent communication /Negotiation skills;
  • Must have strong skills in the sourcing of vendors
  • Must have basic knowledge of Ms Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoints, Outlook) ∙ Sensitivity to gender and other current social issues in countries such as Pakistan;

  • Proficiency in local languages will be an advantage.
  • A willingness for Field/Market Visits when and where required, travel to remote field sites and work in harsh conditions, and physical fitness to work for extended periods in a challenging physical and social environment.
