We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist with expertise in penetration testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and functionality of our software applications through rigorous testing methods, including but not limited to penetration testing, security assessments, and vulnerability scanning. This role requires a deep understanding of software vulnerabilities, cyber threats, and the latest testing tools and methodologies to identify and mitigate risks before deployment.VentureDive Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive penetration testing plans to identify vulnerabilities in software applications.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessments on new and existing applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture and provide security insights during the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Create detailed reports of findings and recommendations for improving security and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing tools and methodologies.
- Participate in the creation and execution of automated testing scripts and tools.
- Assist in developing best practices and QA processes to ensure the highest levels of security and quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is considered and integrated into all phases of the software development process.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on security testing or penetration testing.
- Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP) and methodologies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST) and compliance requirements.
- Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications in security and penetration testing (e.g., OSCP, CEH) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and testing techniques.
