I. BackgroundPak Alliance for Maths and Science (PAMS) is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire a love for learning and develop cognitive and critical thinking abilities in Pakistani children.PAMS provides technical support to federal and provincial education departments, donor agencies, and partner organizations to implement scalable STEAM solutions in government schools across Pakistan. The organization also conducts research on education policy.II. Why We Are HiringPAMS is currently providing technical assistance to federal and provincial education departments on multiple projects.The selected candidate will be working with the STEAM Policy Unit, Punjab (Lahore) and will also coordinate with the Learning team based in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore.III. Scope of WorkThe incumbent will report to the Lead, STEAM Policy Unit (Punjab) and Head of Learning, working closely with teams responsible for program delivery, learning, communication, and outreach.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing school STEAM activity reports and providing feedbackManaging school registrations and maintaining accurate school recordsCoordinating with partner organizations, schools, and government stakeholders for smooth program implementationOrganizing and conducting orientation sessions, refresher trainings, and providing help desk support for schools and teachersIdentifying and implementing ways to recognize teachers and schools actively engaged in the programDesigning and improving math, science, and art learning activities; developing text and video classroom guidesIntroducing and piloting new ideas to enhance teaching quality and student learning outcomesConducting school visits and scheduling regular follow-ups to monitor program progressAnalyzing challenges faced by low-performing schools and developing strategies to improve their engagement and performanceCompiling and organizing data for departmental updates and development partners’ reportingIV. Qualifications RequiredMinimum of a four-year undergraduate degreeAt least one year of relevant work experienceStrong oral and written communication skills in English and UrduProficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization and visualization)Motivated, proactive, and committed personalityAbility to work with diverse people and organizationsWillingness to conduct field visits across PunjabV. DeploymentLocation: LahoreContract Duration: Till March 2026, subject to renewal
