- Keyword Research: Assist in conducting keyword research to identify high-volume, low-competition keywords relevant to our industry and content.
- On-Page SEO: Support the optimization of website content, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and image alt tags, for search engines.
- Technical SEO: Help identify and resolve basic technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and site speed improvements.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to ensure new and existing content is SEO-friendly and aligned with keyword strategies.
- Link Building: Assist in identifying opportunities for quality backlinks and support outreach efforts.
- SEO Audits: Participate in website audits to identify areas for SEO improvement.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct basic competitor analysis to identify their SEO strategies and opportunities for our own.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing regular SEO performance reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of digital marketing.
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Understanding of content marketing and social media.
- Previous internship or project experience in digital marketing or SEO.
