- Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the SaaS market to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing global sales team with a focus on SaaS sales methodologies, including subscription-based revenue models, recurring revenue strategies, and customer retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the SaaS ecosystem to identify new business opportunities and drive customer success.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities within the SaaS industry to identify opportunities for growth and develop competitive strategies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer success to ensure alignment and support sales initiatives.
- Establish and maintain sales processes, systems, and KPIs specific to SaaS sales metrics, including MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue), ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), churn rates, and customer lifetime value.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management to provide insights into SaaS sales performance and opportunities.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the SaaS industry to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at SaaS industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand, build relationships, and stay connected with industry leaders.
- Proven track record of success in global sales leadership roles within SaaS-based organizations, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the SaaS industry.
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales methodologies, subscription-based revenue models, and recurring revenue strategies.
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams in the SaaS space.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.
