- Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts, providing direction in various core banking solutions/services, while also actively participating in hands-on analytical and definition tasks.
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering and analysis for core banking functionalities, including direct involvement in creating detailed specifications and system flow diagrams.
- Ensure that specifications and system flows align with internal objectives and regulatory standards.
- Act as a primary liaison with engineering teams, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
- Play an active role in the system development life cycle, working closely with business, product and engineering teams to communicate business requirements and specifications.
- Oversee compliance with local banking regulations, working in conjunction with compliance and audit teams.
- Contribute directly to the enhancement of backend user experiences, focusing on system functionalities and user interactions.
- Ensure effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Manage the deliverables as per committed timelines
- Lead and participate in quality assurance processes, including testing and problem-solving, to ensure system reliability and effectiveness.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in business analysis within the banking or financial services industry, including significant hands-on and leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in core banking systems, specification writing, system flow development, and direct technical work.
- Strong knowledge of local audit and regulatory standards in banking.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
- Experience in working with and managing remote engineering teams.
