The ideal candidate will be accountable for sales, inventory, staffing, customer service, and regulatory compliance while ensuring smooth, compliant, and profitable branch operations.Required CompetenciesStrong leadership, motivation, and team-building abilitiesDependable, trustworthy, and excellent interpersonal skillsStrong planning and organizational skills with a willingness to learnMust maintain a professional appearance: clean, sober attire with a necktie in summer and blazer with necktie in winterProven ability to manage people, inventory, and sales operationsMain Responsibilities1. Customer ServiceEnsure customer queries are handled professionally by trained sales staffHandle escalated complaints (pricing, refunds, returns, prescriptions)Maintain effective relations with nearby clinics/hospitalsEnsure ethical and professional customer handling, including for credit clientsMonitor and evaluate sales staff performance regularly2. Sales AdministrationOversee product dispensing, proper billing, and sales processEnsure discipline, dress code, hygiene, and teamworkSupervise shift scheduling and performance trackingPlan doctor visits and promotional campaigns (e.g. handbills, sampling)Prevent pilferage, enforce manual discount policy, and maintain inter-branch harmony3. Inventory ManagementMonitor expiries and manage shelf rotation (FIFO compliance)Oversee ordering, receiving, placement, and storage of inventoryEnsure stock level optimization and returns of dead/expired stockCoordinate inter-branch transfers with proper documentationMonitor pricing/margin changes and ensure proper reporting and stock reconciliation4. Sales PromotionVisit doctors to boost prescription flowTrain team on product demos, brand awareness, and communicationImplement campaigns in line with company promotional policies5. Pharmacy ManagementEnsure clean, ergonomic layout of shelves and proper product placementLiaise with maintenance for utilities and equipment upkeepEnsure A/C and temperature-sensitive product compliance6. AuditsConduct routine and surprise audits of inventory and operationsKeep audit records, especially of high-value products7. Accounts / MISSubmit daily/weekly/monthly reports including:Sales and purchase reportsCustomer countAttendance and performance logsStaff salary details and overtime recordsVariance reports and stock alertsMIS reports as directed by managementSpecial ResponsibilitiesTrain, mentor, and retain skilled team membersMonitor branch security and CCTV regularlyComplete additional assignments from senior management as required
