- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
- Perform manual testing to identify defects, regressions, and usability issues.
- Document and track defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify areas for process improvement.
- Design and develop test automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in agile development processes and provide inputs on quality-related activities.
- Ensure testing activities are completed within scheduled timelines.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with manual testing and defect tracking tools.
- Working knowledge of test management tools and test case management.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
