This role aims to ensure the quality and reliability of laboratory results, contributing to effective patient care and medical research. By maintaining a high standard of laboratory practices, the Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, supporting clinical decisions and improving patient outcomes.S. NoSpecific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities1Contributes towards the overall organization goal and humanitarian Principles.2Adheres to the Security rules and procedures defined in the organization code of conduct.3Perform a wide range of laboratory tests on patient samples to assist in diagnosing diseases and monitoring treatment progress.4Ensure precision and accuracy in all test results through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to protocols.5Maintain regular communication and reporting line with team leads, Female Medical Officer & Medical Officer.6Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.7Conducting daily laboratory investigations of daily OPD prescribed by the MO and FMO.8Implement and adhere to quality control procedures to maintain the reliability and validity of laboratory results.9Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials following strict safety procedures.10Performing Logistic supply, maintenance of cold chain at BHU and during outreach activities of mobile health teams.11Reporting of daily lab investigation to the respective medical officer at the government health center and the reporting officer concerned and keeping records of all the tests done on daily basis.11Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies to enhance laboratory operations.12Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of patient data and laboratory records.13Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance technical skills.14Contributes towards the overall organization goal and humanitarian Principles.EducationB.Sc. with 02 years diploma in medical laboratory technology (MLT) or equivalent from a recognized institution.ExperienceMinimum of 02 years working experience in laboratory investigations as a Laboratory Technician in a reputable hospital or a government project.Skills/Knowledge
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
