As an Assistant Engineer, you will be a vital part of our team, contributing to the design, development, and commissioning of state-of-the-art automation systems.Job Overview:✨We are seeking a proactive, technically sound, and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer – Automation & Instrumentation to lead and oversee on-site execution of automation and instrumentation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of automation systems including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and instrumentation (Rockwell, Siemens, E&H). This role ensures seamless implementation of engineering plans, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective coordination among internal and external project stakeholders to meet execution goals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day site execution activities related to automation and instrumentation systems, including installation, wiring, device mounting, loop checking, and system integration.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of field instrumentation (e.g., pressure, flow, temperature, level transmitters), actuators, control valves, and signal converters.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, and internal project teams to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution of site work.
  • Review and interpret project documents including control panel drawings, loop diagrams, IO lists, instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings, and wiring schematics.
  • Monitor site progress, identify and report deviations from plans, and ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies at the site.
  • Support site-level testing, loop checking, calibration, and troubleshooting of control and instrumentation systems.
  • Lead the commissioning process of automation and instrumentation systems, ensuring proper system handover and client satisfaction.
  • Provide hands-on technical support for resolving on-site issues in coordination with engineering, design, and QA/QC teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site documentation including daily progress reports, inspection/test reports, red-marked drawings, and final handover packages.
  • Participate in client and consultant meetings, inspections, and coordination discussions to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure availability and proper condition of all required materials, tools, and equipment to support uninterrupted site operations.
What We're Looking For:
  • ✔ DAE graduates in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • ✔ 2-4 years of hands-on experience in automation and control systems.
  • ✔ Expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems.
  • ✔ Strong command over engineering tools & control system platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider, Emerson).
  • ✔ Experience with communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC).
  • ✔ Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
  • ✔ Excellent problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
  • ✔ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
