Group Accountant

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist the month-end and year-end closing activities of respective holding companies/subsidiaries as per accounting policies and procedures
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations, Inter-company reconciliations, Balance sheet and P&L analysis
- Assist in financial statement analysis, work close with reporting managers on group deliverables
- Prepare workings for various accounting treatments as per IFRS
- Assist reporting managers during statutory audits of the respective holding entities
- Analysis of financial statements, help in report writing and prepare various reporting packs
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of financial and accounting operations and systems, procedures and practices considering automation and improvement of business processes
- Work closely with the team to achieve the overall team's objectives
- Review and verify expense recharges, supplier invoices, and inter-company transactions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or ACCA Finalist
- Minimum of 1-2 years' accounting and financial reporting experience in accounting or related role
- Detailed understanding and application of IFRS (including newly introduced standards)
- Expert in using MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- Knowledge of using Sage ERP (desirable)
- Possess analytical, statistical and numeracy skills including problem-solving and attention to detail
- Relationship building and stakeholder management ability strong written and verbal communication skills
