1. Purpose of the APW
To provide technical support in URDU translation of the revised Pregnancy, Childbirth, Postpartum and Newborn Care (PCPNC) training package.2. Background
The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Government of Pakistan with support from WHO country office recently revised the PCPNC training package to incorporate the latest global updates. In view of the requests from stakeholders to make the technical resource available in local language to make Information technology more convenient for skilled birth providers at all levels including facility-located midwives and community midwives. Therefore, technical support is being solicited from an expert consultant /firm to support URDU translation of the PCPNC training package.3. Planned timelinesA total of60 working daysspread over the following timeframe:

End date:30/06/20244. Work to be performed
The APW holder would work very closely with the Ministry focal point and WHO team at Islamabad and provincial levels in the translation of PCPNC training package including:
� Thoroughly review the revised PCPNC training package.
� Identify list of documents of the training package for translation in consultation with MOH and WHO team.
� Prepare translated drafts of the package and share with Ministry and WHO focal points for review and feedback.
� Incorporate any feedback received to further improve the translated versions.
� Submit print-ready versions of the agreed documents.
� Undertake any other tasks as may be assigned by the senior consultant, WHO Representative or MOH.5. Deliverables and timelines:
Deliverables - Payment Schedule
First Deliverable:Countersigned contract - 0%
Second Deliverable:Submission of first draft of translated documents by 10May 2024 - 50%
Third Deliverable:Submission of final draft of translated documents 20 June 2024 - 50%
Payment will follow approved rates for national consultants in Pakistan by WHO, using the average rate for APW at Senior Specialist/Expertlevel (@PKR 36,810/day for 30 days spread over 3.5 months; total PKR 736,209).Qualifications required:Core team to have Master's Degree in Public Health/ Medicine/ Public Administration or a related discipline.practice required:
� 7 years' practice in reproductive health issues with more than 5 years of clinical/field practice, preferably in a high-burden country.
� Documented practice in translations of medical/technical documents especially related to SRH.expertise/Technical expertise and expertise:
� Strong evidence of teamwork and facilitation expertise. practice working with Ministries and RMNCAH partner organizations would be an asset.
� practice in the adaptation and translation of documents for capacity building.
� capability to use the significant Microsoft office programmes namely Word, Excel, Inpage.To Apply:
