- Manage inventory and establish controls to ensure all Group Companies are operating at the inventory levels, both in raw material and finished goods as per defined company policy.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement and warehousing.
- Develop and continuously improve supplier/vendor selection & management protocols and business partnership programs.
- Continuous Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a materials management group benchmarked against industry best practices.
- Manage inventory and establish controls to ensure all Group Companies are operating at the inventory levels, both in raw material and finished goods as per defined company policy.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement and warehousing.
- Develop and continuously improve supplier/vendor selection & management protocols and business partnership programs.
- Continuously explore and tap the industry for better alternate source of raw materials to ensure that approved/competitive sources are always available.
- Ensure that materials purchased at the best competitive pricing for all Group companies.
- Lead and coach team members in maintaining excellence on cGMP, quality control, and safety in relevant areas.
- Promote and develop tight integration between planning, logistics and other operations areas and optimize performance in schedule attainment, adherence and on time customer delivery.
- Ensure Finished Goods warehouses are sized, designed and staffed properly in line with current & future requirements for volume, handling, storage, shipping and value-added service.
- The planning process should be integrated from material purchase planning to manufacturing floor level planning including daily & weekly monitoring of the variances to ensure the final output as per customer demand forecast.
- Use ERP solutions and integrations to ensure industry best efficiencies and monitoring of the entire material planning and manufacturing delivery process.
- Coordinate and liaise with the company's other departments. Mainly marketing and sales, distribution, finance, production, quality control, and engineering.
- Ensure that materials are purchased at the best competitive pricing for all Group companies.
