It captures information on latest industry trends and global transformations by leveraging data gathered from extensive research. It provides support for strategy formulation and business development and can separate relevant information from less vital ones with respect to solving a particular business problem or identifying a business opportunity. It has the capacity to analyze data objectively, applying logical thought and proffering solutions, taking a long-term perspective.The role reports directly to the Manager Strategy and has an extended team of 4 team members.What does Strategy Analyst do?

Industry Trends Monitoring and opportunity identification: Keep abreast of policy, macro, and industry trends, analysing their potential impact on Jazz's operations and strategy and a focus on identifying opportunities beneficial to Jazz
Strategic Insights: Provide relevant insights to aid in decision-making processes, addressing challenges, and exploring avenues for growth
Data Analysis: Analyse market research, financial performance, and competitive intelligence to contribute to strategy formulation; work with finance and commercial departments to understand their inputs, align strategies, and provide value-added analysis where required
Presentation Development: Develop engaging internal strategy presentations by gathering information from various departments, ensuring alignment with company’s strategic direction and objectives
Maintain comprehensive databases: Maintains an information database of events in global telecom and digital ecosystem, as well as internal work and company for easy access, efficiency and task sustainability

Awareness of key economic and capital markets issues as well as other business trends that could impact the future of Jazz
An independent and self-driven researcher
Analytical competence and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail; Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques is good to have
Understanding of finance and commercial metrics is helpful
Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
Able to work with cross-functional teams independently and have the maturity to interact directly with senior executives across departments.

Education/ Experience:

Degree in Economics and/or Business Administration
2+ years of corporate experience
