Manager Compliance

• Coordination with SBP Inspection Team on all Inspection related matters.

• Assist Head Compliance to review and provide feedback on bank policies, manuals, procedures, product programs, marketing material, memos etc to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements,

• Provision of business compliance advisory (on existing and new regulations) to various functions of the Bank

• To advise on CDD/KYC requirements and review & approve CDDs/KYCs of special customers/High Risk Customers like Correspondent Banking Relationships, PEPs, NGOs etc.,

• To design, conduct, implement and update (as and when required) the Banks annual Compliance mandatory training plan, in collaboration with HR,

• Assist Head Compliance in correspondence with State Bank of Pakistan and ensure timely and accurate information submission Regular review and updating (as and when required) of compliance policies, manuals, and programs etc.

• Assist Head Compliance to escalate to senior management and Operational Risk Matters if appropriate, preparing Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and to execute and report Compliance Monitoring Reviews for the purpose of ensuring that the bank is compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.

• To track closure status of the raised issues and to recommend issues to Head Compliance for closure after satisfying that required / agreed control measures have been taken / put in place for effective mitigation of the raised issues and to prepare MIS of overdue issues for escalation to relevant stakeholders.

• Assist Head Compliance in identifying and reporting new and/or changing areas of banking regulations on sanction / KYC AML, management reporting and presentations

• Review letters received from LEAs and for onward submission of responses

• To ensure that TFS obligations and submission of STRs related to TF are timely reported to SBP.

• Conduct Internal Risk Assessment of the Bank as per SBP Risk Based Approach Guidelines and to conduct & update internal risk assessments in light of NRA TF and NRA as per SBP guidelines and to ensure that case studies on terrorist incidents and other concerned requirements are timely submitted to SBP, LEAs and any other authority (as and when required).

• Keep updated on the latest CFT Risks and ensure issues are escalated at the right forum in a timely manner

• Ensure review submission of required information to SBP / FMU / LEA

• Timely Review of Compliance and other dept. Policies and procedures as received from departments form time to time

• Represent bank on CFT Desk platform at SBP

• To plan and carry out cyber security measures to enhance the security of the organization.

• To support, review and assess existing security practices and gap analysis

• To review, analyze. Asses and support existing and new cyber security initiatives

• To perform desktop PC review

• To perform assigned assessment as and when required

• AML policies should be updated as per latest regulatory directives

• Maintain regulatory knowledge

• Ensure reporting CFT related STR / SAR to Head Compliance where required.

• AML CFT Training to staff as per regulatory requirement

• Timely review of AML related information to LEAs before submission
