We are looking for a Lead Planning Engineer in INTECH. This designation plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective development, implementation, and control of planning functions within the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in scheduling, planning, engineering, and project management, capable of leading and mentoring a team while driving process improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and standardize the project planning framework to streamline planning processes and improve efficiency.
  • Lead proactive process improvement initiatives to enhance planning and control processes and drive organizational excellence.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for effective implementation of planning frameworks and processes across the organization.
  • Monitor project progress and trends, providing support and guidance to project teams as needed.
  • Regularly review project schedules to identify inefficiencies and discrepancies and take corrective actions accordingly.
  • Foster a culture of effective planning and risk management among project managers and team leads.
  • Manage planning team resource allocation and capacity tracking, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely reporting.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to planning team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in engineering and project management roles.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools and software, such as Microsoft Project (MSP).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and guide team members.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Proven track record in driving process improvement initiatives and implementing best practices.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and cost control processes, with the ability to analyze project costs and forecasts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively.
