We're an early stage US startup disrupting logistics through AI powered tools for fleet operators. They're rapidly scaling and need a seasoned Frontend Engineer to lead UI development.This is a fulltime, remote position where you'll collaborate directly with the Founder, CTO, and engineering team.What You'll Own
- Architect and build production-grade UIs using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Ensure responsive interfaces for web, iPad, and mobile
- Integrate real-time data interfaces (WebSockets, REST, GraphQL)
- Translate complex workflows into user-friendly experiences
- Collaborate with Product Designers for pixel-perfect UI
- Mentor junior engineers and interns
- Optimize code for performance, modularity, and maintainability
- Iterate quickly on customer feedback and backlog tasks
- Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate development
- 3-5 years of experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Expertise in responsive design across devices
- Background in performance tuning and real-time integration
- Proven ability to implement complex navigation flows
- High design IQ and attention to UI fidelity
- Comfortable mentoring junior engineers
- Excellent communication skillsregular collaboration with founders, CTO, and team
- Availability: ~8 hrs/day, must overlap US hours (minimum 6 hrs between 9am - 5pm EST)
- Experience in robotics, automation, or logistics interfaces
- Familiarity with mapping libraries (Leaflet, Mapbox)
- Knowledge of ROS or warehouse logistics workflows
- Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools
- Lead UI delivery for a high-impact, AI-driven logistics platform
- Direct collaboration with leadership in a founder-led environment
- Define front-end architecture and engineering best practices
- Fast-paced startup with rapid iteration and real user impact
