The team oversees:
  • Driving the demand of students through our network of recruiters
  • Enhancing the institution knowledge of our network of recruiters, focussing on student quality and pipeline efficiency
  • Planning and executing go-to-market activities for our strategic institution partners
Your PositionAdventus.io is partnering with an aspirational and internationally focused UK university to enhance and evolve its student recruitment approach in Pakistan. The role will focus on student quality, recruitment efficiency, product positioning, market intelligence and education of the Adventus network.Your ImpactThe University is a diverse and inclusive modern University that is well established and has an excellent reputation in Pakistan. This role will support the University's partnership with Adventus by coordinating and providing client and network management of the highest standard to enable the University to achieve its objectives in the recruitment of students from Pakistan.Your Backstory
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in relationship management, business development, sales or a closely related field.
  • Knowledge of the higher education industry is essential, with a focus on UK higher education, and knowledge of the Pakistan secondary and post-secondary education systems.
  • Experience in working with agency/indirect distribution model in recruitment of International Students would be beneficial.
  • Experience in working with internationally mobile prospective students and their parents.
  • Knowledge of engagement and conversion approaches for international students.
  • Proven excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey key messages clearly.
  • Track record in relationship management and communication to a variety of audiences.
  • A commercially savvy professional with a successful track record in delivering results.
  • Experience nurturing customer relationships and working proactively to recognise customers’ business requirements.
  • Experience in managing sales pipelines and analysing sales and performance data.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace and the challenges and opportunities within the sector.
  • Minimum Undergraduate degree (or demonstrable equivalent experience).
Your Contribution
  • Work effectively with the University's designated manager for international student recruitment for this region and the University's responsible Directorate, to ensure delivery on strategic objectives from the Adventus partnership and alignment with the University's strategy and objectives for the region.
  • Own the engagement with the Adventus Channel Partner/Agent network, managing relationships and performance against University and Adventus objectives.
  • Development and execution of engagement and activity plan for the Adventus Channel Partner/Agent network (and other stakeholders as agreed).
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the Adventus Channel Partner/Agent network. Ensuring constant focus on high standards of ethics, recruitment efficiency, accurate representation of the institution partner, student experience, student success, and academic progression.
  • Drive quality at all stages of the student recruitment cycle. Ensuring Channel Partners/Agents and their customers are well educated on the University’s ideal prospective student profile.
  • As required and agreed with the University partner, engage with other stakeholders throughout the student recruitment cycle e.g. non-Adventus Channel Partners/Agents, schools etc.
  • Collaborate with Adventus and University colleagues in developing, understanding and leveraging market insights to inform strategy and tactics.
  • Produce activity and pipeline performance reports as and when required.
  • Identify low-quality channel partners/agents and coordinate with Adventus colleagues to take appropriate actions, including blocking/termination if necessary.
  • Act as a guardian of prospective student credibility. Maintain awareness of, and adherence to, university and UK government policies e.g. pre-CAS, CAS, UKVI and other credibility requirements.
  • Manage Channel Partner/Agent network with a focus on depth of relationship, ensuring adherence to SLAs and improved satisfaction.
  • Identify, recommend and on-board new Channel Partners/Agents into the Adventus network and explore new recruitment opportunities.
  • As required and agreed with the University partner, coordinate faculty visits to Pakistan as also for other incoming staff members from across the University to support recruitment objectives.
  • As required and agreed with the University partner, attend education and recruitment fairs, conferences, and school visits both in person and virtually as is practical.
  • As required and agreed with the University partner, identify and initiate links with universities, colleges, government agencies and other organisations.
  • Contributes to the development of online and offline marketing tools, including social media, and presence on relevant online media; and will also contribute in the development of printed materials to support the University’s international recruitment activities.
  • Develops effective internal and external working relationships with a range of campus communities, and external partners, representatives, and professional organisations, leveraging these networks to achieve objectives set by the University and Adventus.
  • Comply with University policies and applicable laws including those in relation, but not limited to: Workplace Health and Safety; Anti-Discrimination and Harassment, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption and those specifically relevant to the position and authority of the job holder.
  • Maintain alignment with overall University policy, strategy and direction, including compliance with local legal regulation.
  • Other duties that are within the scope of the spirit of the job purpose.
