- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and monitoring of Linux systems environment in a multi-site/enterprise-wide environment.
- Build, manage, and administer a diverse mission-critical IT environment, including Linux, VMware ESXi systems and AWS.
- Administer Linux and Windows systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Performs systems administration functions, including design and deployment of new systems.
- Have Cloud management experience especially with AWS. Worked on AWS services like EC2, ECS, S3 etc.
- Virtualization experience in VMware, Vcenter, ESXi, Hyper-V, VSphare.
- Apply security updates/patches regularly to all devices in infrastructure.
- Work with disaster recovery and failover systems to ensure continuity of business.
- CI/CD experience.
- Solid proficiency with Linux RHEL/CentOS shell scripting, Bash.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Provide and plan after-hours or weekend support when necessary.
- Successfully manage multiple projects and tasks, ensuring those same activities are properly aligned with organization's objectives.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
- Maintenance/administration and monitoring of VoIP system
- Manage, Monitor and ensure to systems from external and internal threats
- Provides level 2 and level 3 support to IT operations personnel when required.
- Perform system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences/ Information Technology from a well-reputed university/institution
- 3+ years of experience with systems administration.
- 3+ Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix/Windows
- 3+ Hands-on experience with RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu
- 2+ Hands-on experience of administering VMWare, Hyper-V, Vcenter, ESXi, VSphare.
- 2+ AWS cloud management experience.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and be self-motivated
- Must possess a strong knowledge of new technologies.
- Must be willing to work outside normal business hours and on-call on weekends or Holidays.
