- Build and maintain the CoCountant messaging guide (personas, pains, value props, proof points).
- Translate product features into crisp, customer-ready benefits that speak to founders, CEOs, and operators.
- Own competitive messaging and keep our differentiators sharp.
- Partner with writers and marketing to make sure ad copy, landing pages, and nurture emails follow a consistent narrative.
- Review and refine drafts—not just grammar, but whether the page flows, the promise is clear, and the scent from ad to page holds.
- Create content briefs so execution teams write with context instead of guessing.
- Ensure every landing page has a strong hook, proof, and CTA that matches where the visitor is in the journey.
- Audit funnels and campaigns for consistency (no more disconnected ads and pages).
- Own headline/subhead frameworks for repeatable, on-brand copy.
- Interview customers, gather case studies, and translate their words into social proof.
- Keep our marketing team aligned to real customer pains (late books, slow closes, messy AR/AP, cash swings).
- Support Sales with decks, one-pagers, and talk tracks that mirror the website.
- Partner with Product/Service team to translate new features or add-ons into clear marketing collateral.
- Writers can draft copy that makes sense without the founder stepping in to rewrite.
- Ad copy and landing pages feel connected, with higher conversion rates.
- Messaging is consistent across website, email, and sales decks.
- We have a clear playbook for each persona and stage of the buyer journey.
- Founder time is freed up from being the default “messaging editor.”
- 4+ years in product marketing, content strategy, or conversion copy leadership, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or B2B services.
- Strong portfolio of work: landing pages, ad copy, messaging frameworks.
- Comfort working hands-on (writing, editing).
- Ability to think like a founder: big picture positioning and small details on a headline.
- Curiosity about startups, finance, and how growing companies buy services.
