- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as Cash expenses, payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
- Experience in spearheading complete Finance and Accounting & Purchase functions.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
- Understanding of United States incorporation accounting and tax will be considered as plus point.
- Experience in handling Financial closure of books, Budgets, Income Tax, Service Tax, Excise & Taxation, Companies Act etc.
- Getting the Assessments completed under various Acts, Getting Statutory and Internal Audits done.
- Strategic Financial Control, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Experience with Private limited company regulations and internal audits.
- Manage tax compliance for with holding, income and sales tax.
- Budget allocation to marketing team for new customer acquisitions via online advertising.
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
- Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
- Making and closing of accounts as per Pakistan law.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Present financial reports to CEO.
- Client billing and invoices, manage client accounts.
- Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial transactions like stripe, wave apps, quick books.
- Establish and maintain financial policies SOP’s and procedures for the company.
- Experience with a software house is must. Segment experience should include Software development house, IT services and start-ups.
- Advanced degree in Accounting/ Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in a finance role with an IT company/Software house.
- Have strength to manage finance department alone.
- Strong grip with Quick Books is mandatory.
- Leadership skills and experience along with employee management.
- Understanding of data privacy standards.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Deep understanding of business principles and practices
