This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to take ownership of a portfolio of UK clients and become a key player in our finance function.About the Role:In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all matters related to UK payroll. You will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for a variety of clients, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with UK legislation. Your ability to engage directly with clients and handle HMRC enquiries will be crucial to your success.Key Responsibilities:
-Accurately process end-to-end monthly UK payroll for multiple client entities. -Demonstrate solid knowledge of statutory payments (SMP, SPP, SSP, etc. ) and ensure their correct application.
-Calculate, deduct, and submit all relevant UK payroll taxes (PAYE) and National Insurance contributions accurately and on time.
-Administer and manage workplace pension schemes (auto-enrolment), including assessments, declarations of compliance, and submissions.
-Liaise directly with pension regulators and pension providers.
-Deal directly with HMRC regarding client enquiries, resolutions, and submissions.
-Engage directly with clients to address their queries, provide solutions, and offer proactive payroll advice.
-Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare related journal entries.
-Maintain meticulous records and ensure all payroll data is accurate and up-to-date. -Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.What We Offer:
