GroupM is seeking a Manager Payroll & HR Operations to join us. In this role, your goals will be:In three months:
  • A thorough understanding of the different teams at GroupM and their functions
  • Started building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Vendor Management of Payroll & Insurance
  • Independently handle Payroll & Leave queries
In six months:
  • Mastered the administration around confidential master documents, the staff database and payroll, ready for review at a moment's notice
  • The confidence to lead the administration of GroupM's multiple job boards
  • Built a trusting relationship with key team members in the agency and the wider Group
In 12 months:
  • Building trusted relationships with the agencies and establish credibility as reliable and responsive
  • Coordinating and liaising with the Finance effectively and accurately
  • Developing a solid relationship with the other GroupM Talent team members
  • Delivering a high quality and consistent HR administration service across all agencies and employees
  • Take ownership of the daily administrative functions of the HR OpsTeam.
  • Considered an ally and problem solver
What your day job looks like at GroupM:
  • Maintenance and management, with accuracy, of all human resources records recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases.
  • Administration of organizational charts, training database, staff lists
  • Prepared weekly payroll tax reporting, monthly reconciliations, unemployment claims, and computed monthly bonuses. regular maintenance of the Master Salary Sheet
  • Provide assistance with general payroll requests & Leave
  • Manage offboarding activities End to End
  • Liaise with PwC for Tax Reporting
  • Independently manage Yearly taxation & Equity Reporting
  • Work with HR Operations Manager and ensure the HR administration function offers a high quality and consistent service across all agencies and employees, whilst working to continually improve accuracy, processes and response times
  • Monitor and prepare the summary of attendance, leaves, and tardiness of all agencies
  • Update the database/HRIS, ensuring it is current and accurate at all times
  • Support the on-boarding and off-boarding processes by liaising with payroll to ensure all necessary details are accurately transferred between HR, employee, WPP Tech/IBM and Finance.
  • Provide the Payroll team information regarding LWOP, salary changes, promotions, parental leavers, etc. by payroll deadline
  • Assist with the employee benefits portfolio, communicating regularly to ensure maximum awareness
  • Work with the HR Operations Manager to ensure all GroupM/WPP procedures are well understood and adhered to by all employees including ensuring the WPP online training courses are completed
  • Ensure concern for quality and pride in all work produced; be consistently careful and methodical with a strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistent delivery
  • Prepare and process all government requests of all employees
  • Comply with audit requirements locally and Global (WPP)
  • Monthly reporting of HC and HR data
  • Submission of online EOBI for all joiners and leavers.
What you will need:
  • 3-4 years of experience in payroll
  • Previous experience in a media agency is desirable but not necessary
  • Proven, strong administrative and organizational skills ideally within a previous Administrative role within the HR field
  • Competent in all Microsoft office software with immediate skills in excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Maintain a strict confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to build strong relationships across different levels
  • Ability to thrive in an informal, high paced environment where priorities are constantly shifting
  • Ability to adapt to different ways of working
  • Organized and efficient
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize different projects - multi tasking
