- Lead and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual, and/or trust returns).
- Oversee complex tax compliance and reporting requirements, including ASC 740 (if applicable).
- Develop and execute tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Monitor and interpret changes in tax laws and regulations; communicate their impact to clients or leadership.
- Represent the company or clients in tax audits and regulatory examinations; manage responses to notices and inquiries.
- Provide guidance on mergers, acquisitions, entity structuring, and other strategic transactions.
- Supervise, mentor, and train tax staff and managers; foster a culture of professional growth and continuous learning.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and external advisors.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of tax processes and systems.
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's in Taxation and/or CPA/EA certification preferred).
- Strong experience with US federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning.
- Proven background in reviewing corporate, partnership, individual, and/or trust tax returns.
- Solid understanding of US tax law and reporting standards (ASC 740 is a plus).
- Prior experience managing or mentoring tax teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- Salary: PKR 300,000 – 400,000 per month, depending on experience.
