Qualification :B.E. Civil with Master in environmental engineeringEnvironmental Specialist – Construction/EngineeringJob ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor environmental management plans (EMPs) for construction projects.Ensure compliance with local environmental laws, regulations, and international standards (EPA, IFC, ISO 14001, etc.).Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) / Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE) and prepare required reports.Monitor air quality, water quality, waste management, and noise levels at project sites.Implement and oversee waste reduction, recycling, and pollution control programs.Provide environmental training and awareness sessions to site staff and contractors.Coordinate with government bodies, consultants, and stakeholders regarding environmental approvals and compliance.Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to environmental requirements.Recommend corrective actions for non-compliance issues and follow up on implementation.Support the health, safety & environment (HSE) team in integrated site management.Maintain proper documentation and prepare weekly/monthly environmental compliance reports.Relevant ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of experience as an Environmental Specialist/Engineer in the construction or engineering sector.Proven experience in conducting EIA/IEE studies, EMP implementation, and compliance monitoring.Strong knowledge of environmental regulations in Pakistan and international best practices.Hands-on experience in environmental audits, inspections, and sustainability initiatives.Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System implementation.Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams (engineering, HSE, QA/QC, etc.).Strong reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
