Qulaification :Master degree in structural engineeringStructural Design Engineer – ConstructionJob ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and develop structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications for buildings and infrastructure projects.Perform structural analysis of steel, concrete, and composite structures using relevant software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, etc.).Ensure designs comply with international codes & standards (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode, UBC, etc.).Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project teams to integrate structural requirements.Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Conduct structural stability and feasibility studies for proposed designs.Provide technical support during construction, addressing site queries and design modifications.Carry out load calculations (dead, live, wind, seismic) and prepare structural models accordingly.Ensure value engineering and cost-effective design solutions without compromising safety.Participate in design review meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors.Maintain documentation of design reports, calculations, and revisions.Relevant ExperienceMinimum 3–6 years of experience in structural design engineering within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of structural analysis & design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit Structure preferred).Practical experience in reinforced concrete & steel design.Familiarity with seismic and wind design requirements.Proven track record of working on residential, commercial, or industrial building projects.Experience in preparing and reviewing structural drawings, BOQs, and technical reports.Ability to coordinate with site teams for design clarifications and ensure execution as per design.Good understanding of international and local building codes.
